Finance Specialist
Naghza is an experienced Finance Executive with a successful track record gained over the last 20 years in a variety of industries, including Transport and Logistics, Construction, IT, Manufacturing and Hospitality. She has significant experience in capital intense businesses and is an expert in sourcing external finance. In a more recent role as Group CFO for an International Shipping Group, she addressed the global structure and financial governance, negotiated terms with major banks across continents and structured multi-million dollar client deals. She has an outstanding track record of turning around business cash flow for organisations. She does this through working capital management modelling and building Finance Functions to deliver the services required by the business community and the all-important shareholder interest groups.
Naghza is a Public Practice trained Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants; this enables her to stay abreast of changes in the Finance World.
Naghza has a proven ability to understand the real problems clients face relating to Financial Management in their organisations and follows through with innovative solutions. She addresses both Strategic and Operational finance to optimise financing for businesses to keep them safe in difficult times. She is passionate about growing capability for organisations and encourages teams to take on more responsibility while mentoring and keeping a watchful eye during their period of learning. Her experience ranges from small organisations through to PLCs and she intimately understands their individual needs to facilitate their ambitious growth plans and keep their businesses in check.
Naghza builds Finance Functions in high profile organisations by creating the right level of financial governance and recruiting appropriately skilled teams to deliver the required outcomes. She has unique skills in building the right financial plans to satisfy banks and auditors while delivering well negotiated Bank Financing and Refinancing instruments. She injects confidence with shareholders/boards and clearly demonstrates progress through measurable results. Naghza has the breadth of knowledge to facilitate implementations of Finance Systems to deliver the expected benefits to organisations.
Naghza gained her ACCA in Public Practice, exposing her to gain knowledge in a wide variety of organisations and furthered her knowledge through practising in the private sector and turning around the fortunes of many entities.
